Dental Team in Central New Jersey & Staten island

Welcome to Dental Health Center of Tottenville

The Tottenville community deserves a dentist who is Staten Island through and through - meet Dr. Rob! He grew up here, did his dental residency here, and is now raising a family here. Dr. Rob leads our team, where we all take care of patients like they’re family. We use technology to help ensure patients are happy with their smiles and look forward to coming back year after year.

The Team at Tottenville

Rob Gorgoglione, DDS

Dr. Rob Gorgoglione is a dedicated general dentist with over 19 years of experience, committed to staying current with the latest techniques to deliver high-quality, comprehensive care. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in 2002, followed by his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry in 2006. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital from 2006 to 2008, where he further developed his clinical skills across all areas of dentistry.

Raised on the South Shore of Staten Island and a graduate of St. Joseph by the Sea High School, Dr. Rob now lives on Staten Island with his wife, Ashley, and their two daughters, Giada and Giuliana. Outside the office, he enjoys performing as a semi-professional magician at venues like the Little Victory Theatre and the St. George Theatre. He’s also a lifelong Yankees and Jets fan and spends his weekends at cheer competitions, at the pool table, or at the range.

Michael DiCarlo, DDS, FAGD

Inspired by his Staten Island roots and early experiences in medicine, Dr. Michael DiCarlo originally considered becoming a pediatrician but ultimately found his calling in dentistry. He brings the same warmth and compassionate care he once admired in his childhood doctors to every patient he sees. Dr. DiCarlo earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from NYU College of Dentistry and completed his General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, where he was selected as Chief Resident. During his training, he was recognized for his clinical excellence in treatment planning, implant placement, and advanced esthetic restoration.

As the founder of Dental Health Center, Dr. DiCarlo is committed to delivering relationship-based care rooted in trust, comfort, and exceptional outcomes. He continues to elevate his craft as a faculty member with Spear Education and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry - two roles that reflect his ongoing dedication to clinical mastery and lifelong learning. A loving husband and father of four, Dr. DiCarlo balances his practice with a full family life, including coaching his daughter’s flag football team. He leads both his team and his practice with the values that guide him daily: Family, Faith, Fitness, and Friends.
